At the heart of the Manawatu
 
Palmerston North is the largest city in the Manawatu region and is home to Massey University which sits on the outskirts of the city. The university is one of the countries top centres for learning and excellence in many areas of advanced study.
 
The city has a young fresh feel to it and also is home to New Zealand's national rugby museum a great day out where you can look up you're favorite all black star .
 
The Manawatu river cuts its way through the city and is often used for many activities for both young and old, the trout fishing is good as well as the canoeing.
 
The main source of farming for the region is dairy farming and the branch has a high profile within the farms around the region. Ten minutes from the city is Feilding where sheep and cows can be seen in the market place most Friday mornings within the town's square.
 
The Head Office for the company is also located in Palmerston North and is currently in the process of a large refit and modernisation as the business grows.
 
Other areas of interest are the wind farms on the Tararua ranges and close by is the awesome Manawatu Gorge which cuts through the ranges which are a picturesque backdrop to the city.
