| The Candy Lane Dance Company is made up of professional male and female dancers and models and directed by, Candy Lane, one of New Zealand's top choreographers and dancers. |

Candy Lane represented New Zealand in London and on the World Ballroom Dancing Circuit since she was 15 years of age. Having already won every New Zealand title available to her she went on to hold the Australasian & South Pacific Championship undefeated for 5 years running.
Before returning home Candy made her mark on the International dance scene, by being the first New Zealander to make both the Ballroom and Latin American finals in the most prestigious competition in dancing - "The British Open to the World Championship".
Candy went on to play the lead role of "Anita" in the original Leonard Bernstein production of "West Side Story", at her Majesty's Theatre in London's Westend just prior to returning home Candy was asked to perform for Leonard Bernstein a salute held for him in London, where she received a standing ovation. Candy also took part in a special performance for the Royal Family.
Candy is an International adjudicator and has judged the Ballroom and Latin American World Championships she was also the first New Zealander to lecture at the world congress.
Before starting her family Candy ran the largest Dance School in Auckland where she trained the top competitive dancers in New Zealand. Candy now performs with her Professional Dance Company that she started in 1990 as well as choreographing and coordinating floor shows, fashion shows & conferences.
