Louise Wallace

Louise Wallace is one of New Zealand's best known presenters. She brought "The Weakest Link" to New Zealand screens and in 2007 Directed "Celebrity Treasure Island" on TVNZ. In fact Louise has appeared in four "Celebrity Treasure Islands"

Louise has been the presenter of "The Weakest Link" one of televisions toughest challenges. In 1999 Louise moved out of her better known presenting roles for a part on the New Zealand drama "Street Legal". As Judge Adriana Saunders, Louise completed three series of this highly rated show.

With a background in television, Louise moved from Australia in 1989 to Auckland where she started as a presenter/reporter for "60 Minutes", "Nightline", "Inside New Zealand" and "Mobile Sport".

In 1992 she won the Steinlager Prize for best single human relations story at the Qantas Media Awards.

Louise has since had guest appearances on Shortland Street, been a performer in Christmas in the Park, compered several exhibitions including "Worth to Dior", "An evening with Dame Malvina Major", "Benson & Hedges Fashion Awards" and was chosen to MC the "World Masters of Business" which featured Lee Iacocca, General Norman Schwarzkopf and Stephen R. Covey on their first and only visit to New Zealand.

1989-1998 - Presenter/Reporter for "20/20" and "60 Minutes" Current Affairs television shows, Ansett "Time Of Your Life" Presenter (eight episodes), "Destination Planet Earth" Turkey Presenter(1 episode), 3 National News Anchor, TV3 Sport Presenter/Reporter, "Inside New Zealand" documentary series Presenter.
1983-1989 "Just For the Record" Network 10 Writer/Presenter/Director, ABC Sport Presenter/Reporter, "Butterfly Island" guest lead role, Australian Film and Television School studio presentation course, "Carefree" television commercial presenter, "Hospital" pilot for Nine Network, "Man of Letters" ABC Television.
Awards 1996 - Finalist "Best Presenter" NZ Film & Television Awards.
1993 - Winner Best Tourism Story Qantas Media Awards.
1992 Winner Steinlager Prize Qantas Media Awards.
