After years of testing, research and feedback Chris has developed his unique "The Interactive Musical History Tour". The 'tour" running for 90 minutes is a package of music, comedy, sing-a-long, actions, quiz and simulation in which the audience participates fully, recreating the history of popular music. Imagine each table being issued with a complete kit of party instruments, warming up with moves from the dance craze era, and revisiting great events in music history. To see an audience reliving Woodstock is truly a sight to behold.

Functions turn into successful parties as Chris Moore delivers non-stop interactive entertainment. Able to get any crowd singing within minutes, he skillfully encourages and challenges audiences to greater involvement, using comedy, stories and the greatest songs to generate huge excitement.

Chris Moore formed the band Pop Mechanix in 1979. After touring New Zealand and releasing several successful singles, Pop Mechanix moved to Australia. Forced to change their name they became ZOO and toured Australia supporting major touring acts and headlining in smaller venues.

Returning to NZ in 1984 he began playing solo. Playing well known songs and some originals he quickly became popular with students and in South Island hotels. During the snow season he regularly performed at Mt Hutt, Cardrona and Ohau, discovering a niche of affordability as bands struggled.

After successfully selling copies of a cassette called 'Welcome to Malvern County' at shows, he produced 3 original CDs 'Long Nights Walking in the Wasteland', 'H.A.C.K.', and the double CD 'Live/Life is Good' which form The Aim Higher Trilogy. (More Information)

I'm conscious as I write this that I might be doing myself a disfavour. I don't want to recommend Chris Moore to anyone else - I want to make sure he remains one of the world's best-kept secrets so that he is available only to us. But that would be selfish of me and I guess I have some sort of social responsibility to make sure that anyone else who wants a rollicking great night out need go no further than to ask Chris to come along.

With no fancy sound gear or other artificial props, Chris and his trusty guitar are guaranteed to entertain. He has joined us at two of our team conferences and both times has been a highlight. He will be welcomed back any time. With a wide repertoire that suits all ages, his unique blend of music, commentary and comedy combined with his skill at working an audience make for a memorable time every time.

Haven't laughed so much in a long time - great to see someone who had done their homework and was so interactive with the people. Loved his energy and passion for music and entertaining.

Nice guy, really talented and had put alot of effort into customising his act for us. Entertained us non-stop, which was admirable in today's world and he genuinely seemed to be enjoying himself, not just earning a buck.

His mix suited most people - very talented and heaps of fun - he too seemed to be having a good time.
