| Anyone who has nine 'start up' companies in 15 years has got to come with some great stories! It comes with some scars too. It is those stories and scars that have enabled Troy Hazard to keep audiences enthralled in 16 countries. |

In 1980 Troy left Church of England Grammar School in Brisbane. After a string of jobs that included a junior manager with Myers, working in the family fishing tackle business, radio announcer, and media executive he decided to head out on his own in private enterprise.
He quit his job, and with no prospects of work, not that he was looking, he had a week off and promptly went into renovating houses, which was a bit unusual for a man who didn't know one end of a hammer from the other.
The property game allowed him to get into his marketing business with all profits from the 13 properties, going straight back into equipment, furniture and staff to ramp up the business.
Since then he has worked as a marketing and business consultant for over 60 franchise and multinational brands and set up contacts around the world for information exchange and strategic alliances. To add to this resource, he has served on the international board of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organisation (YEO) serving a term as the Director for Asia Pacific and Director of International Marketing and Communications. YEO in an international business group with 5,500 members in 38 countries and 116 cities.
Troy's experience in business and marketing, in 16 different countries, has given him the opportunity to address many small business, franchise, multiple outlet, and multi national groups around the world on a range of business topics. Troy is currently on contract to a number of brands to provide strategic advice and conduct workshops and seminars on how to combine traditional business initiatives with solid integrated marketing initiatives to make a success of your business. This simple philosophy is what has given so many businesses the edge. |
