Pinky Agnew

Pinky Agnew been working as a full-time performer and entertainer since 1990. The key to her success is her versatility.

Much of her comedy work is done privately for corporate clients and large organisations, at conferences, seminars, team building days, morale boosters and product launches.

Pinky has also developed a public profile through her work on stage (with Hens Teeth and The Power Breakfast), and my own shows (An Evening With Elvis-Anne), radio (as a regular commentator on Newstalk ZB, and I98fm), and television (as Jenny Shipley on McPhail/Gadsby, and TV's Censored Bloopers). North and South magazine named me one of New Zealand's top three comedians for 1998.

Her two years as "audience warm-up" for the game show Wheel of Fortune helped develop her improvisational skills, sometimes having to keep an audience comprising toddlers to senior citizens entertained during lengthy technical breakdowns.

As well as an entertainer, Pinky is a marriage celebrant, designing ceremonies that reflect the personalities of the couple she's marrying.

Pinky believes in empowering others by encouraging, advising and mentoring. Being a performer isn't everyone's dream. But the important thing is to have a dream, and to make it real.

Whether you're looking for an after dinner speaker, a comedian, an MC or someone to launch your product or trade show Pinky can do it for you.
